Ron Hatchett studied Business Management at Old Dominion University and Architectural Design at Thomas Nelson Community College. Mr. Hatchett holds a building technical license and he is RBC and CBC certified. He was a past participant and winner in the annual showcase, Parade of Homes. Hatchett Contractor’s has thrived due to Mr. Hatchett’s hard work and dedication to his business. He makes sure the work is done in a timely and efficient manner because the client is his number one priority. Mr. Hatchett started his business 42 years ago and has since established a foundation of hard work and ethical standards. He has each employee work and complete each job by following these standards. His professional affiliations include the National Association of Home Builders, Peninsula Housing and Builders Association, and the Better Business Bureau. Aside from his dedication to his work, Mr. Hatchett is devoted to his family and loved ones. His motivation for starting Hatchett Contractors, Inc. was his family along with his skills in the building and remodeling industry. Although he is a dedicated business man, he understands the importance of spending time with family and friends. Weeknights will usually find him with his family or friends, while weekends are often spent on the golf course, his favorite hobby. Mr. Hatchett is equally devoted to his family and his profession.

Adam Hatchett, his son, is 3^rd generation working in the family business and was mentored by his father for 8 years.  Adam is the firm’s Project Manager and shows the same hard work and dedication as Mr. Hatchett. Adam ensures that the clients’ needs are communicated and met in a professional and courteous manner. He strives to keep the business attuned with the advancements of today’s technologies in order to establish the best quality of communication with the client. For example, Adam has helped his father implement the virtual reality software, Chief Architect, which allows for builders to bring home design projects to life. This implementation offers an enhanced level of communication that allows clients to see their dream home before it’s even created. Adam’s passionate work ethic and inventive ideas are continually helping Hatchett Contractors, Inc. thrive in the residential and commercial home builder’s market.
